ABOUT

Toy Factory was a project started between the 2nd and 3rd year of uni.

Having the initial concept of being a toy left behind and lost at a play park, fighting against toys that have lost their sense of self after being lost for so long - I sought out help from fellow students to make the idea happen.

The gameplay takes heavy inspiration from Enter the Gungeon and The Binding of Isaac, taking their concepts into the 3D play space.

Over the summer our team of 5 manage to make and polish a full tutorial for the game, including customised assets, dialogue and complete game mechanics. On top of this we began work on a functional first stage of the game to follow from the tutorial that makes use of a very basic form of dungeon generation.
